Approval for Justikal in a new market
A prerequisite for providing the service in a new market is getting a formal approval from a local government or an arbitration court to accept court documents sent using Justikal. There are no service fees that applies to court employees for using the service.
Once a formal approval has been given by a local governmental authorities or an arbitration court for the acceptance of court documents sent using Justikal, it takes an average time of 6 weeks to translate and integrate the system for a new market. The system is currently available in English and Icelandic.
Justikal can substantially shorten the average case processing time and enables the courts to meet their eIDAS obligations (Art. 46) regarding electronic documents. Justikal can furthermore improve the public service regarding court proceedings.
